Welcome to us!
One of our group leaders will be on parental leave.
We are therefore looking for an experienced and committed group leader to serve as a substitute for one year with the possibility of extension. Welcome to us!
The Youth Unit consists of two groups with seven and six social workers respectively, as well as two school coordinators. Each group has its own group leader and is managed by a unit manager. We work with children and youth aged 13–20 years. Meeting children, youth, and their families in conversation is an important part of the work. Our goal is to provide Skärholmen's residents with a legally secure and positive response in their contact with us. We actively work to make children and youth more involved in all stages of contact with social services. We investigate and follow up on open care interventions and placements according to SoL and LVU. We strive for present leadership with support in daily work.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in your professional role and wants to contribute to a safer everyday life and better conditions for children and youth. With us, you will be part of a committed team that strives to develop.

We offer you flexible working hours, wellness compensation, winter and summer working hours, and favorable occupational pension. Good parking opportunities are available near the workplace.
Your role
As our current group leader will be on parental leave, we are now looking for an engaged group leader for one of our youth groups. Your task is to lead and distribute the work for the social workers. As a group leader, you are present in daily life and drive the case process forward through active follow-up and dialogue. You ensure quality and legal security in the handling by guiding employees to work based on the BBIC structure and established routines. Our aim is to work based on the Signs of Safety approach and tools. We will also increase the number of investigations structured according to SAVRY to ensure high quality in our assessments regarding the target group of at-risk youth.
You will be part of the unit's management team and collaborate closely with the unit manager and other group leaders to coordinate and develop the unit's work.
Your competence and experience
A degree in social work is required for the position. To succeed well in the role of group leader, you need experience in authority exercise and leadership within children and youth. You are service-oriented, calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help and establish contact with people in vulnerable situations.
