During rush hour, it takes about 30 minutes by direct bus from Slussen. You start your day with a short journey over bridges and sea to our beautiful archipelago municipality. Buses run every 10 minutes. In our central locality Gustavsberg, you will find our bright and fresh municipal building. If you choose to drive instead, the same distance takes 20 minutes.

The adult unit of social services in Värmdö municipality will undertake a development project in 2026 aimed at laying the foundation for innovation and evidence in connection with the new social services that came into force in July 2025.

To achieve a sustainable and high-quality social service, the adult unit will implement ISU (Individual-Based Systematic Follow-Up), based on materials from the National Board of Health and Welfare. Our goal is to have made significant progress in implementing a knowledge-based social service by the end of 2026, aiming to provide the target groups of the unit with the best-matched interventions.

The role will be organizationally affiliated with the adult unit, which consists of a total of 19 employees. The unit includes social workers with authority, case managers, and administrators within housing social contracts, as well as group leaders and a unit manager.

The position is a fixed-term employment and full-time. As time allows, the content of the position will also be directed towards operational development related to the new social services act and the goals of the unit.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Degree in social work.
• At least three years of experience in authority work.

Preferred:

• Previously documented experience as an operational developer and development leader.
• Knowledge of Stratsys.
• Documented experience in leading development work within individual and family care.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to drive independent work but enjoys collaborating with others.
