We are now looking for a nursing assistant with night shifts at Villa Joneberg in Simrishamn. The position is a permanent employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period. We offer training and several benefits.

About Villa Joneberg

The nursing home Villa Joneberg offers permanent accommodation focusing on both somatic care and dementia. There are a total of 54 apartments. The facility has common areas such as a party room and a nice outdoor environment. We provide our residents with individualized care based on care, integrity, and choice.

• We are a dementia-certified facility, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and communication through Vardaga's Dementia Academy.
• You have a team leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the facility. Becoming a team leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.
• Here we work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy dogs.
• We are constantly working to come up with new, exciting activities for our residents.

As a nursing assistant, you are extremely important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their way of living and their habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant and have worked for a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
