S:t Olovsskolan is centrally located in Köping, within walking distance to libraries, swimming pools, museums, and several beautiful natural areas. The school operates in two buildings and has three parallel classes.

In the main building, preschool classes to grade 3 are held. In the annex, grades 4 to 6 are located. Here you will also find our principal's office. We also have a large after-school program at the school. Approximately 440 students attend the school, and about 70 staff members work here, including 9 student assistants.

We actively work to counteract bullying. We believe that safety is a fundamental prerequisite for learning and participation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a student assistant during their school hours. When they finish for the day, your tasks will involve working in the after-school program.

The responsibilities may include assisting with studies, during breaks and leisure activities, as well as supporting students in their social development. The role aims to create a safe and inclusive environment where students can achieve their goals, and the support is designed to enhance the student's independence.

This is a temporary position for the spring term of 2026 (VT26).

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is engaged, collaborative, and has a genuine interest in building good relationships and safety, allowing students to develop both academically and socially. You need to have documented experience working with students with special needs, and a requirement is to have training in diabetes.

The assignment starts on 8/1 - 26.
