Job Responsibilities

As a research advisor, you will provide administrative support and conduct needs analyses within the competence center Resilient Energy Systems. You will review applications for external research funding, primarily within the research direction Future Energy. Additionally, you will provide limited support for applications to the EU's framework program.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a completed PhD in a relevant field
  • previous experience in research advising at a Swedish higher education institution
  • good knowledge of the conditions of research, the research policy landscape, and support functions for externally funded research at Swedish universities, commonly referred to as Grants Office.
  • experience with research funding applications to international and/or national research funders.
  • experience in investigative and analytical work within a university or college.
  • good ability to communicate in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing

For this position, it is advantageous if you have:

  • experience in leading and managing research projects at a university or college.
  • experience in conducting research in collaboration with external parties and the requirements that come with this, such as ethical assessments and contractual issues
  • experience with applications to, and projects funded by, the EU's framework program
  • advisory/coaching work related to research activities
