We are now seeking a qualified employee for an established fintech company. Here you will use your strategic skills to support the organization and ensure the highest quality in the fight against financial crime.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is a fintech company aiming to simplify financial processes for growth companies. Through their digital platform, they create smooth solutions for corporate financial needs.

As a FinCrime Specialist, you will step into a qualified role where the focus is on strategic work, such as risk assessments and the development of routines. You will support a smaller team and work with issues related to transaction monitoring and investigations.

The position is part-time, with a scope of approximately 20–50%, which provides a unique opportunity to combine it with other employment. We are looking for someone who can start immediately, and the assignment initially runs for three months, with opportunities for extension.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

In this role, you will work with qualified and strategic tasks related to financial crime. You will be responsible for reviewing alerts regarding transaction monitoring and fraud, as well as conducting enhanced customer due diligence (OCDD) in case of suspicious activity.

  • Review alerts from transaction monitoring and fraud monitoring
  • Utilize AML and fraud tools, systems, and methods to detect and reduce the risk of financial crime
  • Conduct ongoing customer due diligence and investigations
  • Perform reviews of unusual activities and report suspicious transactions.
  • Respond to information requests from partners and law enforcement agencies
  • Contribute to the improvement and updating of existing processes, systems, and routines
  • Conduct overall risk assessments and provide recommendations based on risk
  • Support training and development within the FCP organization
  • Be responsible for escalations in daily operations

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has at least three years of experience working to prevent financial crime (FinCrime/AML).
  • Has experience from the financial sector, preferably from a growth company or fintech.
  • Has good knowledge of complex KYC issues and compliance.
  • Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Feels confident making independent decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Has another primary occupation of at least 50%.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • A relevant certification such as ACAMS or ICA.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience working with various international jurisdictions.
