About the Company

JP IT-Konsult i Stockholm AB is a growing consulting company collaborating with clients across various industries. We deliver mission-critical and innovative IT solutions in complex environments. We are now looking for an IT Infrastructure Technician with a particular focus on advanced DNS solutions to strengthen our team.

Responsibilities

• Advanced operation and development of DNS infrastructure (Infoblox and Open Source DNS software)
• Further development of existing network solutions, including work with Docker/Kubernetes and Linux
• Technical project management in smaller projects, focusing on improvement and optimization of DNS solutions
• Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure a stable, secure, and future-proof infrastructure

Must-Have Requirements

1. Extensive experience with Infoblox (several years of practical use)
2. Documented experience with Open Source DNS software (PowerDNS, BIND, Unbound)
3. Good understanding of complex network environments
4. Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
5. Good knowledge of Linux
6. Experience in a similar role – support this by attaching a description of a reference job. The description should include:

• Brief description of the assignment
• Client
• Contact person (name, phone number, and email address)
• Certification that the contact person has been consulted and can confirm the information

Desirable Requirements

1. Experience with BGP
2. Scripting and/or Python skills

You are a structured and collaborative IT infrastructure technician who enjoys working in complex environments. You have deep expertise in DNS solutions and are accustomed to taking responsibility for both development and operations. Driving improvement projects forward, sharing knowledge, and collaborating with colleagues is second nature to you.
