Granngården has supported dreams since 1880, when we opened our first small farm shop in the Småland countryside. Today, 140 years later, we have over 100 stores across the country and e-commerce at granngarden.se. Our headquarters is located in Malmö and our distribution center is in Jönköping. Granngården has approximately 950 employees. The revenue in 2023 was about 2.6 billion SEK. Granngården has been owned by the Norwegian Felleskjøpet since 2016.
For our store in Borås, we need to strengthen our team with a service-oriented and relationship-building salesperson who is passionate about customer interactions. Does this sound like something for you? Welcome to apply for the position!
Responsibilities:
- Actively work with sales and advice on our wide range of products in Animals and Gardening, Agriculture/Forestry, and Home.
- Cash handling and unpacking of goods.
- Planning and follow-up of customer activities, displays, and restocking.
- Heavy lifting may occur.
- Responsibility for the gardening department in the store.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with sales experience from retail and knowledge of and interest in our grounded product range within animals and nature. We would like you to have experience and knowledge of gardening and plants. Having a forklift license is a plus.
Personal qualities such as a strong sense of service, drive, good collaboration skills, organizational skills, and a genuine interest in our customers are some of the qualities we value highly.

Position and application:
Start date as soon as possible, by agreement.
Position: Permanent employment 60%, with the possibility of a higher degree of employment during peak season. We always apply a probationary period. The position also involves work during evenings and weekends.
