About the position

We are currently looking for an experienced purchaser who will be employed in one of the group's companies, PlusEight Engineering AB. In this role, you will work closely with our factory and be responsible for the purchase of materials and finished products that are crucial for our manufacturing and ongoing development. The role is central to ensuring an efficient, structured, and cost-effective material supply to production.

You will contribute to high delivery reliability, clear structure, and cost-effective material supply in close collaboration with production, warehouse, and planning.

Responsibilities

Your role includes, among other things:

• Responsible for purchasing manufacturing materials and finished products from external and internal suppliers
• Manage supplier contacts such as orders, delivery monitoring, and complaints
• Develop and manage the supplier base
• Negotiate prices and terms within given frameworks
• Ensure that the right materials and products are available at the right time
• Follow up on delivery precision, costs, and deviations
• Maintain item, price, and supplier data in the ERP system (Monitor ERP)
• Contribute to the improvement and structuring of purchasing routines
• Work closely with production, warehouse, and planning

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in purchasing within manufacturing, technical, or industrial operations
• Negotiation experience
• Good understanding of both manufacturing materials and purchased products
• Knowledge of material flows, lead times, and delivery terms
• Good business understanding
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as English in supplier dialogues
• Driver's license B
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Monitor ERP, is an advantage
