The Vittsjö Health Center is Skåne's smallest public health center, and is a small, stable rural health center in northern Skåne with just over 3,000 registered patients. The unit currently consists of twelve employees, and we strive to provide our patients with care continuity, working in team collaboration. Here, we have specialists in general medicine, ST doctors, and occasionally also AT doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

We also have a good collaboration with our rehabilitation staff, which consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and dietitians, who have their physical workplaces in Hässleholm.

It is easy to reach Vittsjö by public transport, and the health center is located a few minutes' walk from the station.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work closely with your colleagues from different professional categories. We who work here today value our excellent collaboration that creates a safe work environment and patient-safe care. Several employees have worked at the health center for many years, and recently we have welcomed new colleagues. This provides a good and creative combination of experience and innovation.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will among other things work in the lab, where you will meet people of all ages who flow through the health center. You will also have a nursing assistant reception with booked patients, such as blood pressure monitoring. In addition, you will be part of our emergency team some days of the week. In this position, you may also assist doctors with minor surgeries and examinations. The variation in the work provides a good work environment and broadens your skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to previous or current program structure. If you studied according to the previous program structure, a specialization in emergency care/health care is an advantage. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are also required. Previous work experience in primary care is a merit. We also prefer that you have good computer skills and knowledge of the journal systems PASiS and PMO.

As we are a well-knit group with a high ceiling, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy teamwork. We would like you to be confident in your professional role and be stress-resistant and flexible regarding the varying tasks that may arise during a workday. It is also important for us that you are service-oriented towards both patients and colleagues.
