The Employment Unit consists of six operations that together create a meaningful and stimulating everyday life for individuals within LSS. We offer directions such as working with dogs, creative activities both digitally and practically, sensory-stimulating activities, and social and communicative support in daily life. Our goal is to increase or maintain the participant's independence and participation in society. We work with great respect for the individual's integrity and tailor support based on each person's needs and circumstances. The work is characterized by a pedagogical approach, a clear and structured working method, and a low-arousal and respectful attitude. Employment is primarily conducted in our own premises and in the local area where we offer various activities and experiences.

Job Description

As we continuously develop our operations, we are looking for someone who is flexible and open to change. Structure and flexibility are crucial to meet our users in the right way. Our units cater to citizens with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like traits as well as NPF.

As a team leader with us, you will have a leadership role in an operation that supports individuals who are far from the labor market or have disabilities. Our goal is to create meaningful employment that strengthens the individual's work capacity and leads to increased independence, moving towards employment. You will work operationally and be physically present during weekdays.

Qualifications

As a team leader, you will have a user-focused operational role. In your role, you will:

  • lead, develop, and follow up on the pedagogical work with the user in focus to strengthen individual independence and autonomy.
  • ensure good quality in the operation together with employees, team leaders, and the unit manager based on the individual's conditions and needs.
  • review and ensure that documentation is carried out according to current routines and guidelines and ensure that all individuals have an up-to-date implementation plan.
  • ensure that current journal notes comply with applicable laws and guidelines.
  • in consultation with the unit manager, be responsible for and plan the daily operations.
  • support the unit manager in implementing new working methods and continuously follow up on them.
  • lead and support the operation to work based on overarching routines and processes and create local routines for the work.
  • plan schedules together with the staffing coordinator based on client needs.
  • contribute to ensuring that financial resources are used as efficiently as possible and that goals can be achieved.

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • be a good leader and role model in the pedagogical work.
  • have started or completed training as a support pedagogue, social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • have experience working with individuals who need support in their daily lives.
  • have the knowledge and ability to build good relationships and networks for the individual, their network, employees, and colleagues.
  • have the ability to plan your work and work independently on parallel processes.
  • be proactive, imaginative, and willing to try new things with the individual in focus.
