Healthcare and Medical Curator in Inpatient Care

Stockholm Sjukhem is one of Sweden's largest non-profit healthcare providers, offering care and support without profit motives. Our mission in the rehabilitation area is to rehabilitate patients after care in acute hospitals. We work in teams according to rehabilitation medical principles: eliminate, compensate, and train with the aim of helping patients achieve the best possible quality of life and independence. Care is provided in multidisciplinary teams where we work closely with both patients and their relatives. Through collaboration, we develop ambitious, qualitative, and sustainable rehabilitation efforts with the individual at the center.

Your Role as a Healthcare and Medical Curator

Your tasks consist of the usual duties of a healthcare and medical curator in a department and mainly include:

  • Being part of the team regarding discharge planning for a safe discharge for the patient
  • Conducting psychosocial assessments and contact with authorities
  • Providing personal assistance
  • Offering counseling support

We work in a team-based manner, which means you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, discharge coordinators, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, curators, dietitians, speech therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We use the TakeCare journal system.

The position is a permanent part-time position, with a scope of 50%. Working hours are based on agreement. Are you our new colleague?

Requirements for the Position

The requirements for the position are that you are a licensed healthcare and medical curator, preferably with experience working in hospitals or other inpatient care settings. The position requires you to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities, and we are looking for someone who:

About the Position and Application

The position is permanent part-time with a scope of 50%, and we apply a 6-month probationary period. Salary and start date are based on agreement.
