We are now looking for several hourly substitutes as housing support workers for our team at Vega service housing.About the housingVega is a service housing facility with 12 apartments and a base apartment with shared spaces, conversation rooms/conference rooms. The service housing is aimed at individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions. The service housing is located in an area close to Haninge Center and public transport, with the nearest stop about 200 meters from the housing and within walking distance to the commuter train at Vega station.

About the roleIn the role of housing support worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts.

You will have a group manager nearby who works part of their time in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledgeYou who are applying have a high school education in health and care or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
