JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for a new employee who will work on analyzing support for agriculture and vibrant rural areas. The unit you will be working in is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting the support to the government and the EU Commission. You will produce, compile, and disseminate knowledge through reporting and evaluations that contribute to making the support simpler and achieving the political goals. You will also participate in the development of agricultural and rural policies.
We are looking for someone who has an interest in policy development in a role where you can both perform independent analytical work and drive tasks in close collaboration with others. The job may also involve travel within Sweden and the EU.
About 15 employees with various skills and backgrounds work in the unit. We strive to match tasks with those working in the unit. We are keen to utilize each employee's skills and willingness to develop.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree, such as an agronomist, economist, environmental or social scientist. In this role, you need to be quality-conscious and have good analytical skills to handle complex problems and large amounts of data. Proficiency in Excel is required. You need to have a good ability to collaborate with others, as well as to take responsibility for and organize your own work. You have the ability to drive both your own and others' work forward to find solutions. It is also important that you enjoy communicating and conveying knowledge verbally and in writing to others. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite for you to be able to perform your work. Knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage.
Experience working with EU programs, particularly project and investment support for agriculture and rural development, is also an advantage. You are welcome to have broad work experience from various roles and organizations. Good statistical skills are also advantageous.
