You have led industrial projects before and know what it takes when technology, economics, and people need to work together. We are now looking for you who want to take overall responsibility for projects within the machinery, process, and manufacturing industry. With a large mandate, freedom in your daily work, and experienced colleagues at your back.

At Ingenjörsfirman, you work closely with the client on assignments that often extend over a long period.

About the role

As a project manager in Ingenjörsfirman's Industry and Energy Department in Blekinge, you will work on a consulting basis within the client's organization and be based at the office in Karlskrona.

You have a clear overall responsibility for the implementation of projects. This means responsibility for following up on project issues, finances, and timelines, as well as for quality, environment, and working conditions. You coordinate operations, production, and technology, prepare and compile investment documentation for investment decisions, and lead and manage cross-functional teams. The role also includes planning and leading implementation and commissioning.

The projects can range from larger industrial projects to assignments within manufacturing, process, and energy industries. They can encompass early stages and feasibility studies, as well as the execution of production and investment projects.

You have great freedom to plan your working hours and where you work, within the framework of what the assignments require. You will have the opportunity to work on large projects over a long time, often together with established and significant players in the region.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is confident in the project manager role and experienced in taking responsibility in complex industrial environments. You work independently, are structured, and find it easy to collaborate with both clients, production, and suppliers.

You have experience in project management within machinery, process, or related technical areas, preferably in a consulting role, and are comfortable leading projects from planning to execution.

Requirements

·         At least six years of experience in planning and leading projects in a client organization.

·         Experience from larger and medium-sized investment projects.

·         Experience from manufacturing industry.

·         Preferably experience in production technology work.

·         Good familiarity with finance, budgeting, and procurement.

·         Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and communicate with clients and suppliers.

·         Good ability to lead and organize groups.

·         Good familiarity with document management in projects.

·         Valid driver's license (B).

·         Relevant education, such as a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Meritorious

·         Experience in leading roles in project organizations.

·         Experience working in early stages, such as feasibility studies and requests for proposals.

You are a good judge of character and have the ability to manage clients at various levels. You are proactive and enjoy handling a wide variety of challenges, easily adapting to changing conditions and communicating clearly. You seek help when needed, value quality in your work, enjoy planning and organizing, and have a knack for identifying and understanding risks.
