The Social Administration in Kungsör consists of three areas: individual and family care, elderly care, and functional support. The administration works based on laws, regulations, guidelines, and routines to provide good care for the municipality's citizens in need of help and support. The management of the Social Administration consists of a head of administration, three area managers, an IT strategist, two system administrators, a project manager for the transition to the new SoL, a quality strategist, and MAS/MAR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a business developer, your main task will be to assess needs within functional support operations and develop a basis and plan for the continued development of the operational area.

Your assignment includes both driving and leading improvement work, reviewing work processes, and providing methodological support in the process work that is ongoing/starting in 2026.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Mapping and analyzing needs within the various operations as well as the needs of the management group.
• Developing material for planning and developing interventions.
• Ensuring that the inventory follows applicable laws, guidelines, and quality requirements.
• Contributing to improvement work and development projects within the area.
• Collaborating with management and employees to create a common quality culture that adds value and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an academic education, preferably in social work, care, and nursing, or a similar field. You have a good ability to analyze and structure information, you are communicative, and used to collaborating with different stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you need to have experience working according to LSS, SoL, and other regulations affecting the social administration's operations.

If you have experience in coordination or project work, we consider it an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have documented experience in project management, change management, quality, and development work.

As a person, you are analytical, accustomed to working towards set goals, and have the ability to combine operational work with strategic thinking. You need to have a drive and commitment that allows you to find new solutions and translate them into usable methods.

The work requires good collaboration skills and flexibility, and we are therefore looking for someone who is unpretentious, service-oriented, and social. You inspire others and are good at building relationships and networks. We see that you can easily communicate at all levels, both orally and in writing, and you have good computer skills.

In addition to suitable professional experience and education, great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Kungsör is a calm and safe municipality with nearly 8,700 inhabitants. Kungsör is characterized by a royal history and a uniquely beautiful nature. Central Kungsör is situated high, and the buildings extend down towards Lake Mälaren. In the countryside, there is another locality, Valskog. The municipality is constantly growing and changing; we plan, develop, and improve new and existing areas.

Kungsör is located in the middle of Western Mälardalen, with the E20 passing just outside the locality and trains on the Svealandsbanan stopping centrally. You can quickly travel to neighboring municipalities; it takes about 15 minutes to Arboga, Köping, and Eskilstuna, and Västerås and Örebro are within 45 minutes, while Stockholm can be reached in an hour by express train.
