We are now looking for an Electrical System Engineer for our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. This assignment offers you the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. Initially, this is a consulting assignment for approximately 6 months via Unik Resurs, with a very good possibility of extension. We apply continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled before the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

As an Electrical System Engineer, you will develop customer-specific electrical designs and associated documentation for customer projects within our Medium Gas Turbine segment. Within Control Equipment and Measurement (CEM), you will be responsible for the design of control cabinets, which includes:

Layouts and component lists
Circuit diagrams
Internal cabling
Network maps
Signal lists and fuse lists

The work is carried out in close collaboration with our control department and other parts of the electrical department. Together with your colleagues, you will work on customer order projects where you ensure that customer requirements are met, both in design and documentation. The role also involves providing technical support to assembly and site, as well as some contact with subcontractors, purchasing, and the sales organization. You will work across many different interfaces where we expect you to be engaged, flexible, and open to change and development. As part of the project work, you will also participate in the workshop to support the projects throughout the assembly phase.

About the Team

The Electrical Systems team consists of five teams – four in electrical design and one team of Project Lead Engineers. We are responsible for all electrical installations, from high to low voltage, starter motors, electrical installations, and local equipment rooms for control and measurement systems. You will be part of a team of about 20 people. Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

Relevant education in electrical power/electrical engineering and several years of experience in the field
Experience with SPHA or other relevant I/O solutions
Experience with electrical CAD programs as well as working with layouts and circuit diagrams
Previous experience with our products or other power-generating products is an advantage
Good ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
