Technician for Fault Reporting at Hjälpmedel Stockholm
The Assistive Technology Services are responsible for the operation of assistive technology for people with mobility impairments in the southern part of Stockholm County, as well as cross-county responsibility for individuals in need of consumable assistive devices at home, medical technology equipment at home, and communication, cognition, vision, and hearing aids.
Hjälpmedel Stockholm supplies the southern part of the county with technical aids.
At Technical Service, we work with the maintenance of technical aids for people with disabilities. We are now looking for a technician for our fault reporting.
You will work in a team of four people responsible for ensuring that our customers and employees receive professional service. In our fault reporting, you will be the spider in the web for Technical Service and our face to the outside world.
Your main task is telephone support; receiving fault reports, troubleshooting, and scheduling repairs.
Your tasks also include:
- Planning and preparation of maintenance
- Material procurement and material planning
- Work order management such as reporting completed jobs
- Handling incoming complaints and warranties for the Technical Service unit
- Some basic service on assistive devices
We believe you are practical and stimulated by working with customer contacts and providing quick and professional service.
Service mindset, flexibility, organizational skills, commitment, and teamwork are qualities that are highly valued by us.
We believe you have a technical background or previously documented experience from similar work in customer/order reception, preferably in a technical unit/department.
Very good computer skills are a requirement.
We also prefer that you have good experience working in integrated business systems.
Swedish C1, knowledge of English is considered a plus.
Previous experience from similar work in fault reporting, order department, or technical support is an advantage.
Other:
- Probationary employment of six months may be applied.
- Working hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours/week, the workplace has flexible hours.
- The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be allocated for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations.
In patient-related work within Stockholm County's healthcare area:
- background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
