Strategic Account Manager at Combitech
Do you want to drive strategic business in the forefront of the defense industry? As a Strategic Account Manager for Saab, you will play a key role in developing Combitech's long-term partnership with one of Sweden's most technology-intensive actors. We are looking for someone who is business-strategic, experienced in leading complex B2B sales, and can challenge the customer's perspective through value-creating insights - in a role where you actively contribute to strengthening Sweden's future defense capability.
Your role as Strategic Account Manager
We are looking for a business-strategic Strategic Account Manager (SAM) who wants to further develop Combitech's collaboration with Saab. We are looking for someone who challenges the customer's existing mindset, brings new insights, and drives business dialogues that create real value.
In the role of Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for and develop the business relationship with Saab across several business areas. You will identify and analyze the customer's business challenges and strategic goals. Additionally, you will conduct value-based analyses and present the business benefits to the customer while leading business dialogues with decision-makers at the management level.
You will work closely with Combitech's various divisional management teams across all our areas of expertise to develop complex customer solutions, conduct value analyses, and highlight business benefits in dialogues with the customer.
In this role, you will actively contribute to Combitech's business development within the defense industry and technology, providing a fantastic opportunity to influence Sweden's future defense capability within an innovative and competence-driven company with strong societal benefits, where you will be surrounded by a network of experts in technology, cybersecurity, systems integration, and leadership.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with experience in driving larger business deals and commitments with multiple stakeholders, as well as the ability to discuss business models, ROI, and value creation with the customer's management. You have experience working with technology-intensive customers and understand their innovation drivers, as well as experience working with defense confidentiality and export control.
We are looking for someone who either has an academic background in technology, economics, or political science, or equivalent knowledge acquired through at least 10 years of experience in complex B2B sales to larger defense industry customers. Experience working as a Key Account Manager is an advantage.
We seek someone with strong drive and outstanding communication skills, enabling you to effectively network and build long-term relationships, both with our customers and equally within Combitech. You have a desire to challenge customer perspectives and an ability to understand their needs and challenges. With your analytical skills and creativity, you find solutions that make a difference for our customers and contribute to developing our collaboration.
The position is primarily located in Stockholm, but other locations may be considered for the right candidate.
As the position involves work covered by defense confidentiality, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance process with a background check.
