We are now looking for an educational advisor to develop professional development initiatives focusing on governance and leadership issues.

About the Job

In this role, you will primarily work with training and school development initiatives concerning school leaders and managers at various levels, mainly with the National Agency for Education's school leadership training and the government’s training program for principals. You will collaborate with other colleagues on these training programs. Your tasks include holding workshops, reviewing course literature, planning, leading, and organizing training sessions.

Your work may also include other assignments of a management and governance nature, such as in security and crisis preparedness, professional development, and systematic quality work. The assignments vary in scope and content, and you will carry them out either in teams or individually.

You will belong to the Unit for Leadership and Professional Development at the Department for School Development, which has about 25 employees. In addition to collaborating internally with colleagues in the unit and within the National Agency for Education, a significant part of the assignment involves cooperating with higher education institutions and other authorities and interest organizations.

“Seize the opportunity and apply for this position where you will be able to work on governance and leadership issues at a strategic level. You will be part of a team that trains and develops school leaders and principals - for the benefit of children and students.”

- Anders Duvkär, Unit Manager
