About the organization
Crime Victim Support is a politically and religiously independent non-profit organization. We provide support to victims of crime, witnesses, and relatives. Every year, over 60,000 people receive compassionate support from our volunteers who are active in 58 local crime victim support organizations across Sweden.
The position is linked to Crime Victim Support Sweden, which is the organization's national office. Central to Crime Victim Support Sweden's mission is to provide the best possible conditions for local organizations to continue offering high-quality support. The national office works with direct operational support, administrative support, training, quality and evaluation, communication work, advocacy, and also runs the national support line for crime victims, 116 006.
Responsibilities
As an administrator, you are the first point of contact for employees and elected representatives in Crime Victim Support's member associations (local crime victim support organizations), as well as for external contacts and the public. You are an important part of the national office's hub and support other employees in their daily work. The role involves many and varied tasks in an organization that makes a difference.
Examples of tasks:
Handling incoming calls and emails
Responsible for digital mailings, mail and package handling
Member management, including administration of user accounts, certificates, support documents, and similar
Order management related to the organization's webshop
Administrative and practical support before, during, and after conferences and other events
Assist the office and the board in ongoing work
Other office tasks such as orders, archiving, inventory, and contact with suppliers and service partners
Education, experience, and personal qualities
You have a few years of experience in office administration, office service, or similar tasks.
You are an experienced computer user with excellent knowledge of the Office suite.
You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
Experience working in associations or non-profit organizations is an advantage.
Relevant post-secondary education is an advantage.
The work is largely independent, which requires your ability to prioritize between different tasks and to be flexible when conditions change. Additionally, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others to achieve common goals. You are proactive and see what needs to be done, take initiative and act quickly, regardless of the task's scope. You are structured and have a well-organized working method.
