Art Teacher Wanted at Skiftingehus

Do you want to spark students' interest in art? Do you want to use your knowledge to inspire and develop students in their learning? Then this could be the position for you. We are now looking for a new colleague for a permanent position as an art teacher.

Skiftingehus is a F–9 school with approximately 580 students. The school is located about 3 km from the city center and has good bus connections as well as ample parking opportunities near the school. Over the past three years, the school has been completely renovated, meaning the facilities are modern and tailored to the needs of each profession.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, you will teach art in grades 4-9. You will plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate the teaching together with colleagues, based on the curriculum Lgr22. At the school, we work on language development in all subjects and grades.

You will work full-time as an art teacher and have the opportunity to focus on one subject. With creativity and commitment, you create an inclusive and inspiring teaching environment. You adapt the teaching to meet the diverse needs of students and actively work to motivate and engage them in the classroom.

You will belong to a working team and be a mentor in grade 7. In your role, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues and share experiences and knowledge to strengthen students' learning and development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching certification qualified to teach art. You may also be in the process of completing your education. You have experience teaching art and are accustomed to using digital teaching tools. You have an interest in the subject of art and want to develop alongside students and colleagues. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the systems ProReNata and Vklass.

For the position, you will need to present a valid criminal record extract.
