About Us

Dammsdalskolan in Vingåker is a national boarding school specializing in children and adolescents within the NPF area. We offer a comprehensive solution with school and accommodation within the framework of four school forms: adapted primary school and adapted upper secondary school.

Your Responsibilities

Dammsdalskolan offers you an exciting everyday life where you have the opportunity to meet each individual student based on their individual needs. We want you to have a strong commitment to your students and be skilled at building relationships with others. Your tasks are varied and include preparation, implementation, and follow-up of teaching, internships, documentation, and development work.

Your ambition is to always keep the student in focus, and you are convinced that everyone can learn more based on their own individual conditions. You have a deep understanding of students' differences in learning and respond to them with clarity and high positive expectations. Working as a teaching assistant with us means that you need to be a strong advocate for flexibility and perseverance. You need to be clear and have a holistic view while also being alert to the small details. You are curious and interested in the reasons behind students' behaviors and remain calm even in pressured situations. The position requires that you are interested in our working methods and use them as a foundation for all work with our students.

You are an active, creative person who works to create a stimulating and developing environment with the student's needs at the center. You see opportunities rather than obstacles and have a positive outlook that permeates your interactions and approach towards your entire environment. You are physically active and enjoy moving around with the students.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with at least a completed upper secondary education, preferably with an aesthetic focus. You have an inner drive, and an interest in digital tools is an advantage. You are interested and curious about the school as a field of work and have a strong interest in young people. You have a particular interest, curiosity, and experience with young people who may exhibit challenging behaviors. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. A driver's license (B) is required.

Hourly employment based on the needs of the organization. Start date by agreement.
