Licensed Teacher for Preschool Class Wanted!

IES Eskilstuna is now looking for an engaged teacher for the preschool class for a temporary position starting in January 2026. Here, you will play an important role in the children's first steps into the world of school.

About the Position

As a teacher in the preschool class, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on the curriculum goals. You will work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues in close cooperation with after-school care, student health, and guardians.

You will create a safe, fun, and educational environment where each student has the opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace.

Qualifications

• Swedish teaching license with authorization to teach in preschool class
• Experience working in preschool class is an advantage
• Good knowledge of the curriculum and clear pedagogical leadership
• Ability to create structure, security, and good relationships
• A positive attitude and good collaboration skills
• Recognize the important connection between language development approaches and the didactic aspects of teaching in other subjects

You should be positive and cooperative and ready to join an international team. Your own teaching as a teacher will be in Swedish, but we speak English/Swedish among colleagues. This means you should be fluent in both languages, both spoken and written.

The positions are temporary with a start in January 2026.
