LBS – Creative High School in Nyköping was established in 2010 and offers college preparatory programs in the Technology Program and the Aesthetic Program with the following specializations: Game Development, Graphic Design, Game Graphics, Photo & Film, and Music Production. The school has about 200 students and 20 staff members. We are now looking for a study counselor in English and a study coach for our operations.

Your mission
We now offer a 50% position as a study counselor in English and study coach at LBS Creative High School Nyköping. The mission includes providing linguistic and pedagogical support to a student in teaching, focusing on strengthening the student's understanding, knowledge development, and study techniques. You will work closely with the teaching teacher to adapt and clarify the content so that the student is given the best possible conditions to achieve the goals.
As a study coach, you contribute to developing students' study skills through guidance, structural support, and follow-up of study results. You help students plan, organize, and take responsibility for their learning, both inside and outside the classroom.
Through your competence and engagement, you contribute to creating a stimulating, inclusive, and successful learning environment for our students.
Your profile
We are primarily looking for someone with very good knowledge of English and experience working with linguistic support in teaching. It is an advantage if you have a teaching license, but you may also be considered for the position if you have specialized knowledge in English as a language, language support, or study counseling and a strong interest in students' learning and development.
We are looking for someone who, in addition to your subject competence, wants to contribute with engagement, warmth, humor, and humility to our school. You will take responsibility for the school's pedagogical development together with the principal and colleagues and continuously strengthen your own professional competence.
As a person, you are structured, attentive, and creative in your way of working. You have the ability to create study motivation, adapt support based on individual needs, and meet students with different backgrounds and drives. In meeting with students, you are a safe and relationship-building adult who creates trust and a conducive working environment.
It is an advantage if you have other creative competencies or interests that can contribute to the school's operations.

The position is a general fixed-term employment for the period 260108-260612. Start date according to agreement.
