Experienced Financial Controller Wanted

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller with an interest in qualified accounting to join our team within Accounting and Reporting.

As a specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our financial reporting, internal control, and compliance with regulations. Your background from an auditing firm or a similar strong financial environment is crucial for succeeding in this current-oriented and results-driven role.

Who are you?

You have the ability to work both broadly and with attention to detail, and you can communicate what you present fluently in both Swedish and English.

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to guide and lead others in compliance with financial frameworks and work in a structured manner with good planning skills, as the role involves many internal and external deliverables. You are a skilled analyst who can interpret, understand, and solve complex issues, as well as convey the conclusions to others. Strong knowledge of IFRS and Swedish accounting legislation is required. The role demands that you are a good communicator and that you thrive in an environment where change is part of everyday life. Experience from an auditing firm is an advantage.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will proactively and independently develop your area of responsibility to match the business goals. You will be part of a team working on financial reporting of forecasts and outcomes, where you will have a central role. The position involves ensuring compliance with regulations.

The work requires close collaboration with both Business and Project Controllers in the organization, where the mission is to support and challenge the business to meet profitability and other requirements through relevant analyses and conducted risk assessments. The work also includes developing financial models, routines, and processes.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a degree in economics at the academic level. You have strong knowledge in accounting and auditing in senior roles, experience from an auditing firm is advantageous. We are seeking someone who is a proficient user of business and financial systems and has good knowledge of M365, and it is a plus if you have previously worked in SAP.
