Your Responsibilities

In the adapted primary school, students with intellectual disabilities, often in combination with multiple disabilities (for example, NPF, physical movement disabilities), attend. Our students study subjects and/or subject areas, and the teaching is adapted to each student's conditions.

As a part-time teaching assistant in the adapted primary school, you support students in all situations throughout the school and leisure day. You collaborate with teachers and teaching assistants in the various workgroups of the schools.

Your Workplace

We are looking for substitutes for Blästad School and Bäck School's adapted primary schools located in Ekholmen and Berga, respectively. Two schools where every student has the opportunity to develop according to their own conditions.

Blästad School and Bäck School are K-6 schools with both adapted primary school and regular primary school. Both schools have inspiring outdoor environments. At Blästad School, there are 8 student groups, and at Bäck School, there are 4 student groups receiving their education in the adapted primary school and leisure center.

Who You Are

It is a requirement that you have completed a high school or adult education. It is advantageous if you have relevant education for the role, such as a nursing assistant, teaching assistant, childcare worker, or in child and leisure. Since our students need a lot of support to use and develop their communication skills, we require that you have good knowledge of and can apply the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

As a substitute in our operations, you contribute to adapting the teaching to the children and allowing them to participate in shaping the teaching. In your role as a substitute, you should be a good role model. You have the ability to collaborate well with the contacts that occur in your professional role, adapted to the situation. In the role of a substitute, it is also important that you, as a person, take initiative and responsibility in activities and tasks that occur in the operations. Since you are booked according to the needs of the operations, it means that one day is rarely like another, and we therefore believe that you are a person who is flexible and that you find it easy to adapt to new operations/work environments and group constellations.
