Who are we?

Palettens Preschool is located in Hageby and offers a large, pleasant yard close to forests, libraries, and playgrounds. Since August 2024, Paletten is part of a unit together with Önskestjärnans Preschool, led by a principal.

Our operations are based on children's curiosity, interests, play, learning, individual needs, and experiences.

Currently, we have a particular focus on how play can be used as a tool in learning, teaching, and designing our learning environments. Our values work is a core issue, and we see respectful interactions between people as the most important foundation of our operations.

Together with your team and the principal, we work to develop an equitable preschool operation based on the curriculum and the unit's overarching goals. Our focus in this work is to increase children's progression, where language and mathematics are important parts that are constantly present in our work.

We are now looking for a licensed preschool teacher for a temporary position who has drive and commitment and wants to contribute to children's development with us!

Your Responsibilities

As a licensed preschool teacher, you are responsible for implementing the preschool's governing documents and the unit's prioritized goals in collaboration with your team.

You actively work to ensure that education is based on scientific principles and proven experience. Together with the principal and colleagues, you are responsible for fostering a good collaborative climate and a professional approach that creates joy at work and promotes goal fulfillment.

With your knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF), you are responsible, together with your team, for planning and following up on the work in action plans for children with special needs. You need good knowledge in planning and working based on an NPF-adapted approach where teaching and daily structure meet the child's needs and abilities.

Who are you?

We see that you are a licensed preschool teacher with experience in the role and knowledge of the operational governing documents. You have experience in meeting and planning education for children with neuropsychiatric disabilities. We also view any form of NPF training positively.

As a person, you are secure and attentive with the ability to create trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You have good pedagogical insight and adapt your approach and communication according to the individual and the situation.

You are a reliable and responsible person who creates trust in everyday life. You are aware of your feelings and actions and how they affect children, colleagues, and guardians.

Since we work with children, we see that you are flexible and can adapt to changing conditions during the workday.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing and are accustomed to working with digital systems.
