As an INFRA Officer/Project Coordinator/Local Coordinator/Space Planner at the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters (HKV), you play an important role in an authority that is experiencing strong growth. Together with competent and engaged colleagues, you will receive responsibility, development, and challenges.
About the Section
The Property Section is responsible for all properties & premises of the Headquarters at Gärdet. We work according to the Swedish Armed Forces' INFRA process, which means we have close cooperation with both the Fortifications Agency & the Local Planning Unit M (LpLE M).
We have a broad area of responsibility in the section, which is considered a support function, including reporting faults, operations/maintenance, furniture, relocations, and local & operational adaptations. We work in several time perspectives; from daily operations to longer projects that extend over years.
Main Responsibilities
The role involves many contact points such as our operations, contractors/suppliers, landlords & property owners. You will primarily work in the maintenance/management phase but sometimes also with procurement projects.
You will mainly work operationally but also strategically with coordinating local-related projects, workplace planning, evacuation & relocation coordination, planning & coordinating management and maintenance matters as well as projects.
You need to independently drive projects as a representative of the operations and tenants as well as a project manager. Since the role places high demands on communication, you need to be able to express yourself easily, both in writing and speaking, and adapt to the requirements that apply.
Some of the tasks included in this role:
- Be responsible for, coordinate, and lead cases and projects such as local, property, relocation projects, etc.
- Lead and coordinate local planning for decisions by higher management.
- Manage property-related cases and projects in the role of INFRA-HL, i.e. authorized purchaser in collaboration with the operations against the Fortifications Agency.

- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Personal Qualities
To succeed in the role, you need to be a person with a high delivery and performance capacity, have a strong commitment, be results-oriented and ambitious, and be proactive as conditions change and no day is like the other.
With us, it is important to be meticulous, structured, and clear in your communication/order and thus feel confident in coordinating independently as well as collaborating with others, both internal and external parties.
You can handle a larger number of cases and projects simultaneously and thus prioritize both independently and together with colleagues and management.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
