Your Role

Do you want to help shape the underwater solutions of the future?

As a Senior Verification Engineer within our Underwater Systems in Linköping, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced and innovative products on the market. Our section is unique in that we work with the entire product, from its functionalities to the interface with the customer's system, giving us extensive product knowledge.

Your role with us means ensuring that our products meet the expectations our clients have regarding the products' capabilities. You will support the technical work throughout the development process, from requirements specification, document review, planning, to verification of the final product.

You will (among other things) work with:

• Development of strategies and plans for verification and validation of underwater products
• Verification, integration, and validation of underwater products
• Development of our working methods to streamline and enable us to take even greater quality responsibility
• Documentation of results in reports and test protocols
• Being responsible for the entire verification work for a specific project, in close collaboration with other systems engineers and project management

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience in systems engineering and who enjoys working in a changing environment and operating in several different areas simultaneously. You appreciate the combination of working in a team with your colleagues as well as independently and sometimes close to customers. You are structured, meticulous, and enjoy working with documentation and reviews.

We believe you are a university or master's degree engineer or equivalent with deep experience in systems work at a holistic level. Experience in review is a plus. Since occasional business trips within Sweden may occur, a driver's license with B category is required.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
