On behalf of our client, we are looking for an area manager for a consulting assignment starting as soon as possible. The assignment is full-time and lasts for approximately 4–6 months, located in Linköping.

As an area manager, you will have a broad and developing role where you are responsible for the management of both residential properties within a geographical area.

The role combines strategic and operational management work with personnel responsibility for a team of 7 people. You will drive and develop the business with a focus on sustainability, economy, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will be a key person in the organization and contribute to creating security, structure, and stability in management during a period of high activity.

• Overall responsibility for the ongoing management of residential properties with a holistic perspective on operations, economy, customer, and development.
• Leadership and coordination of employees within the area, including daily management, support, and follow-up.
• Ensure that the properties are managed according to the owner's goals, policies, and applicable legislation.
• Coordinate technical, economic, and administrative management in close collaboration with specialists and external suppliers.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up work.
• Work on continuous improvement of work methods, processes, and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to the long-term value development of the property portfolio through present leadership and structured management.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a leading management role where you can combine technical knowledge, business acumen, and a clear responsibility for both properties and people. You have the ability to work in a structured and independent manner while being a present and secure leader.

• Relevant post-secondary education, for example in property management, construction, engineering, or economics, or equivalent work experience in the field.
• Several years of experience in the management of residential and/or commercial properties.
• Good understanding of the property owner's responsibilities.
• Experience with personnel responsibility or leading teams.
• Experience with contractor agreements and tenant contact.
• Driving license (B).
