Your Role

Are you skilled in electrical environments? Do you have knowledge of EMC, TEMPEST, and HIRF? We are looking for a systems engineer for our electrical environment technology area within SMRA (Special Mission and Regional Aircraft) at Aeronautics.

As a systems engineer in Electrical Environment, you will work with:

• Technical investigations and technical support primarily regarding GlobalEye but also Saab340/2000 AEW&C, i.e., our reconnaissance aircraft.
• You will have interfaces with many different departments and technology areas within Saab as well as with external subcontractors and customers.
• The tasks rarely have a given solution, and you are expected to actively seek the knowledge and contacts within and outside Saab that you need to solve your tasks.
• You will work independently but will have colleagues who support you and teach you our working methods and systems.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is curious and not afraid to make decisions. You should have experience working in the electrical environment area or have worked with electronics.

In this position, all written communication is in English, which means you must have very good language skills in English, both spoken and written. Since parts of our regulations are in Swedish, good knowledge of the Swedish language is also a requirement for the position.

The following abilities, attributes, and competencies are desirable for the position:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field
• At least 5 years of work experience, preferably in the electrical environment area
• Experience working at Saab
• Interest in aviation is a plus

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
