Your Role

We are now looking for an experienced composite designer in the field of Mechanical Engineering at Saab Dynamics in Linköping. In the role of composite designer, you will work on developing advanced composite components for Saab Dynamics products. You will work in a small team of 5 composite designers and in close collaboration with structural analysis, materials technology, and production technology.

As a composite designer, you will be involved in requirements specifications, and based on this, design and develop composite components for our products by working with requirements management, specification, design, verification, and documentation. Your future tasks may include everything from modeling, testing, evaluating results, creating and updating drawing documentation, as well as providing technical expertise to other departments. We manage both large projects that require collaboration skills and smaller projects that require independence - and you, together with your team, are an important piece of the puzzle in our journey to create the next generation of defense systems.

Your Profile

We see that you are a civil or university engineer with extensive experience in advanced composite design. We work in CATIA/3DExperience.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, involve requirements for specific citizenship.
