Controller for the Authority's Finance Unit

We need to strengthen and develop our controller function and are therefore looking for several new controllers to join our team.

About the Positions

The positions have partially different focuses and responsibilities, but are located together in the finance unit. The controller group works as a team, and colleagues are readily available for support, idea exchange, and joint development.

Working as a controller means being responsible for a part of the authority's operations and providing support to the authority's managers in decision-making during budget work, forecasting, and other financial reporting. You will also contribute to tasks related to monthly closing, annual reports, and quality assurance. The role may also include other tasks, such as developing and monitoring various key performance indicators, working on process development within financial management, and developing system support.

We are looking for someone who has

• a university degree in economics or equivalent education deemed relevant by the authority
• very good knowledge of Excel and good experience with financial administrative systems
• current experience working with budgets, follow-ups, and forecasts
• good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

It is an advantage if you have

• current experience working with accounting
• knowledge of, and practical experience with, the financial administrative regulations within the state
• experience working with EU-funded projects and audits

Good to Know

The positions are permanent full-time employment and begin with a six-month probationary period. You will be based at the office on Västerbroplan in Stockholm, but have the option to work remotely for up to two days a week. In spring 2027, the authority will move to newly renovated premises in Solna Strand. Your job title will be controller and your placement will be in the finance unit.
