Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 25s living in Särö

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• has experience in similar work

• has experience with epilepsy

• is non-smoker

• is tolerant of pets

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience with cerebral palsy

• have experience with cognitive variations

• have a B driver's license

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and there are two positions as follows: 1 position at approx. 50% 1 position at approx. 80-100% The positions involve work on weekdays with working hours 07:30 - 10:00 and/or 15:30 - 23:00 and every other weekend 09:30 - 23:30.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with the collective agreement.

Start date

January 2026, according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
