We are now looking for an internet gatherer for the internet surveillance group in the intelligence unit. With us, you will develop alongside engaged and friendly colleagues and be an important part of increasing safety and reducing crime in Sweden.

The Intelligence Unit in Region North is responsible for intelligence operations in the region. The unit conducts operational and strategic intelligence activities aimed at preventing, deterring, and detecting criminal activities. The unit's mission primarily involves gathering, processing, analyzing, and sharing information that will serve as a basis for decisions on operational measures.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as an internet gatherer based in Sundsvall.

Job Responsibilities

As an internet gatherer, you will primarily work on gathering, processing, and to some extent analyzing crime and event information as well as intelligence information obtained mainly from electronic sources to detect and prevent criminal activities. You are also expected to contribute to method development and work on creating new technical solutions and implementing them in the operations.

The work is spread over all hours of the day, and therefore the position requires a high level of availability and flexibility.

Qualifications

This is an opportunity for you who have:

• Swedish B driver's license (manual transmission)
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Very good computer skills and experience working in IT systems
• Swedish citizenship

Meritorious

• Experience in gathering, registering, and processing large amounts of information in your work
• Higher education in relevant areas such as IT, data, or system science
• Experience in programming
• Experience in internet gathering from open sources (OSINT gathering)
• Experience in interpreting and applying laws and regulations within the field
• Experience working in government operations, preferably in crime-fighting and/or internet gathering

Employment type: Permanent position

Work location: Sundsvall

Working hours: Trust-based working hours - work is spread over all hours of the day and therefore requires a high level of availability and flexibility. The position thus includes a salary supplement related to availability.
