Do you want to lead the future's DevOps team and build a modern digital infrastructure from scratch?

About the Assignment

Our client in the public sector in Sundsvall is building a new digital infrastructure and strengthening its DevOps capacity. As part of this initiative, we are looking for two DevOps team leads with a strong technical background and documented experience in leading agile DevOps teams.

You will work closely with the development teams responsible for creating API-driven components, microservices, and API infrastructure. The assignment also includes lifecycle management of these components as well as improving tools, processes, and working methods in collaboration with other teams in the organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and coach agile DevOps teams in their daily work
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, refinements, planning, and retrospectives
• Continuously work on improving working methods, delivery processes, and team rituals
• Break down business needs into technical requirements, Epics, and Stories
• Contribute to architectural work and ensure that solutions follow API-first and microservices principles
• Drive lifecycle management of APIs and related components
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve tools and development practices

Requirements for Success (Must-have)

• At least 3 years of experience in leading an agile DevOps team
• Strong experience in facilitating agile ceremonies and improving team working methods
• At least 3 years of experience in business development, solution architecture, and requirement breakdown
• Good understanding of modular IT architecture and API-first
• Experience in technical architecture supporting microservices
• Experience in API lifecycle management in WSO2 API Manager
• At least 1 year of experience in software development within the municipal sector
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret business needs
• Stays updated in their field and enjoys sharing knowledge

Meritorious

• Experience with BPMN, Camunda, or similar tools
• Experience in the role of Product Owner in a DevOps team
• Additional experience from the public sector
