Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion SEK each year. These are the tax funds we manage, which is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop, and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. Welcome to one of Sweden's largest IT departments.

We have three teams within the Development product area that make the approximately 70 system developer teams at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency more productive, allowing them to focus on business logic while adhering to requirements. We provide everything from purchased to in-house developed products. What we have in common is that we handle development, production, and support for all our products.

Development, Production, and Support

We are looking for driven and curious system developers who want to help shape the future of our testing platform. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to combine your knowledge of traditional testing with exploring and integrating AI-based tools, methods, and custom models.

We aim for all teams to use AI daily. You will establish forums where employees can share knowledge and innovations.

You will be part of an engaged team that develops and maintains a range of support systems – both in-house developed and standard systems – that actively support the system developers at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in conducting system testing. You enjoy working in a team. Your work will consist of combining code development, process development, production, and support, where you will have close contact with our customers, the system developers at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. We work with Windows (client/server), Linux, and OpenShift. You will participate in the initiative to develop the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's new target platform where our products accelerate the work of system developers.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • has competence in software development
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • brings innovative ideas and solutions that promote development
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • has a systematic and meticulous working method
  • has good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have

  • knowledge in AI-driven software development
  • knowledge in system testing, both functional and non-functional
  • knowledge and experience in software architecture and design patterns
  • experience in Machine Learning and Large Language Models
  • experience in data collection, data analysis, and model training in AI-driven software development.

Two positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Remote work is possible if the job allows.
