Our system group needs reinforcement, and we are now looking for an engaged system administrator for Region Östergötland's financial and purchasing systems.
Job Description
As a system administrator, you have a central role in managing and developing the region's financial and purchasing systems. We work in the financial system Unit4 ERP.
You will work with:
- Management of the financial and purchasing system - focusing on the purchasing part of the system
- Identifying change needs
- Driving projects/development activities
- Handling troubleshooting and error reports
- Providing user support
- Working for efficient and reliable system usage
- Participating in system upgrades and daily operations
- Conducting tests during major development efforts and upgrades
- Establishing and ensuring system documentation
- Participating in networks and monitoring developments in the field
- Engaging in dialogues with system suppliers
- Collaborating with other system administrators and, if necessary, supporting some of our other systems
As a system administrator, you are part of the region's object organization where we use a governance and collaboration model (PM3) that aims to strengthen the organization's development capacity with the help of IT and is based on a business perspective.
Work Group
Financial Services has three units with a total of about fifty employees. The position is part of Financial Services 3, and you will work within the system group together with the system administrator for Unit4 and with two other system administrators responsible for other systems.
You will have several points of contact and are expected to collaborate and communicate with many different professions and functions within the region.
Your workplace will be in beautiful and newly renovated premises on Drottninggatan in Linköping.
About You
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education, for example, with a focus on computer science/IT or finance, or equivalent knowledge through other education and/or work experience that we assess as equivalent.
You have worked as a system administrator or with system development, or have qualified work experience in a larger financial system, close to the business, and are used to engaging in dialogue with both the business and IT.
Experience from a larger organization, preferably within the public sector, is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have worked with Unit4 ERP or another large financial system.
To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. You enjoy working on process development and have a genuine interest in systems.
You are analytical, structured, and self-driven, able to plan, organize, and prioritize your work based on workload. You work with a focus on development, want to deliver solutions, and take the initiative to improve routines and working methods.
To succeed in the role, you need to be service-oriented and enjoy creating positive working relationships and collaborating with others. You have a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and are pedagogical and clear in your communication.
