UMS SKELDAR is developing an unmanned helicopter to support maritime, military, and public safety operations. We have a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with an entrepreneurial spirit. We are now looking for a System Safety Engineer who wants to join an experienced team that, together with the organization, develops our unmanned helicopter system. Upcoming customer deliveries and new contracts mean we need you who have an understanding of systems safety and regulations.System Safety with us:
You will be part of the Product & Compliance department, which consists of 16 people with cross-system competencies. The department supports the entire organization with roles such as Chief Engineer, Configuration Management, ILS, Tech-pubs, Quality, and Systems Safety.
In the role of System Safety Engineer, you will be part of a team working on systems safety for the entire helicopter system. The work is project-based and in close collaboration with several different material groups within the organization. Some tasks include:
reviewing the systems safety work based on established requirements
conducting various types of systems safety analyses
identifying safety-critical functions and components and developing systems safety requirements
assisting system engineers in design work to meet safety requirements
developing safety measures together with system engineers

Furthermore, you are structured and self-driven, ensuring you make progress in your tasks, with an understanding of how to plan, prioritize, and organize tasks both independently and together with others in the organization.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have a higher education degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on systems safety. We would like you to have experience from a similar role or experiences such as a system engineer and have a technical interest and curiosity about systems safety. We also prefer that you have experience working with standards and are skilled at documentation. Experience from the aviation industry, especially unmanned, is a strong merit.
The position requires proficiency in both English and Swedish, spoken and written.

Workplace: Linköping.
Employment rate: Full-time.
Start: Immediately, considering notice period.
Travel: May occur occasionally once a year.
