Business Controller, Marketing – Orkla Foods Sweden

Orkla Foods Sweden prepares food and beverages in Sweden with love and care for people, the sea, and the land. We are a local community player that, with our 1500 employees, makes a difference and contributes to a more sustainable and healthy everyday life. About 90 percent of the food and beverages we sell in Sweden are prepared locally at one of our 7 facilities in Eslöv, Fågelmara, Kumla, Kungshamn, Tollarp, Vansbro, and Örebro.

We are now looking for a Business Controller, Marketing, who wants to help drive the development of our strong brands and contribute to long-term profitability. In this role, you will work closely with both marketing and sales, conducting strategic analyses and business support that makes a real difference. About the role

As a Business Controller Marketing, you are an important support function at the interface between controlling and marketing. You will work with both daily issues and long-term analyses that drive our sales forward. During closing weeks, you will focus on reporting, estimates, and participation in management meetings. At other times, you will work closely with the organization on profitability calculations, ad-hoc analyses, and development projects within both finance and marketing.

What you will have the opportunity to work with:

  • Reporting and analysis of fixed costs and marketing budget
  • Profitability calculations and business cases for new initiatives
  • Ad-hoc analyses and follow-up of results
  • Participation in the Marketing Management Team
  • Development work within controlling and marketing
  • Support to the organization in financial matters and training

We are looking for someone who:

To succeed in this role, we see that you fundamentally have an academic degree in economics (bachelor's, master's, or equivalent) and 2-5 years of experience in controlling or a similar area.

  • Are systematic, structured, and have good collaboration skills
  • Are passionate about numbers and want to make a difference in a larger organization
  • Enjoy working both independently and in teams

It is a bonus if you also have:

  • Experience from the FMCG industry
  • Experience with business cases/profitability calculations/standard costs
  • Experience in marketing
  • Interest and experience in BI development
