In Burlöv Municipality, the Authority, Support, and Care department is responsible for authority exercise according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), especially housing and LSS operations. We are now looking for three unit managers for special accommodations who want to contribute, develop, and make a difference!

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, finances, personnel, and work environment. You work both strategically and operationally in a broad role. You lead and develop the operations based on political goals, the direction of the operations, and given frameworks.

We are facing several exciting development projects where you, as a manager, will play a key role. Your leadership is characterized by participation, dialogue, and trust, and you actively work to create engagement, job satisfaction, and opportunities for development for your employees.

The assignment involves many points of contact, both internally and externally. You will be part of a management group and together with managerial colleagues and cross-professional teams, you will help shape a modern and future-oriented elderly care.

On-call duty is included in the position during daytime on weekends according to a rotating schedule. You do not need to be available on the remaining weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a confident, clear, and courageous leader with a genuine commitment to elderly care. You have the ability to create trust, build relationships, and lead through change. We prefer that you are used to working with follow-up of goals and results, that you can translate theory into practice, and have the ability for self-reflection in your managerial role.

You have:

• Experience working in elderly care
• Relevant university or college education
• Experience leading development and improvement work

We consider it an advantage if you have experience working in a politically governed organization and experience with the systems LifeCare, Personec, and QlikView.
