The payroll specialists belong to the HR unit, which is a cheerful and dedicated group that works every day to support and develop the operations. Currently, there are two payroll specialists and a system administrator with coordination responsibility for the payroll group, in addition to three HR strategists in the group. Together, we form a pleasant and supportive unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a payroll specialist, you will have an independent and varied assignment where you are responsible for the entire payroll process for several operations. You handle everything from employment registration and payroll preparation to payments and various types of certificates. The role also involves actively monitoring, ensuring quality, and providing qualified support to managers in payroll and contract-related issues. The position also includes staffing our phone support and providing service to employees and managers.

We work in the Payroll/HR system Personec P, where our employees and managers report payroll-impacting events in Self-service.

With us, each payroll specialist has some form of extra assignment tailored to their interests and skills; therefore, this position includes a role as a secondary system administrator for our payroll system. This means you will act as a backup to the regular system administrator and work with her on system administration issues.

Currently, we are supported by Visma, which handles payroll processing, but we plan to bring this in-house after the summer. In this role, you will be a key function in that project along with our system administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education focused on payroll administration or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience in practical payroll administration, preferably from the municipal sector or a larger organization.
  • You have good computer skills and an interest in using the payroll system optimally and supporting self-service users.
  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • As a person, you are development-oriented and enjoy contributing to improvements in the payroll area.
  • You work systematically by planning and prioritizing effectively.
  • You are meticulous, service-oriented, and analytical, and used to working against deadlines.
  • You find it easy to build good relationships and communicate clearly with employees, managers, and other authorities.
  • Experience in payroll work in Personec P is an advantage.
