Workplace Description
The office of the Humanities and Theology faculties is a developing and multifaceted workplace with various professional competencies supporting operations in several areas.
There are about 25 employees working with finance, communication, HR issues, quality and development matters, international exchange, and support to the faculty board and its decision-making and preparatory bodies, primarily the executive committee and the operational committees responsible for undergraduate education, doctoral education, and research. Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility
As a faculty coordinator, you are a vital part of the faculties' overall administration and coordination of work within undergraduate education. The role includes being an operational systems coordinator for the Humanities and Theology faculties' locally developed IT support for education, a link between the needs of the departments and the IT unit's technical work. This means working systematically based on a management plan but also conducting investigations, coordinating needs assessments, some development work, processing cases for decisions in various bodies, and responding to inquiries from employees. You also represent the Humanities and Theology faculties in university-wide contexts regarding educational administrative matters.
The main job responsibilities include:
- operational systems coordination of local IT support for education
- convening the network of educational administrators
- processing certain educational administrative routines at the faculty level
- coordination when implementing new routines or IT systems in the operations
- operational support in the application of regulations for educational administrative staff in the departments
You collaborate with the pro-dean for undergraduate education and are part of a working group consisting of faculty secretaries, program leaders, and quality coordinators. You also have contact with employees at the faculties' departments and the IT unit. The position requires a high level of service and flexibility, and you must be able to take responsibility for your tasks. Periods of high workload may occur.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position are:
- higher education degree at least at the bachelor's level
- experience with educational administrative processes within the university and higher education sector
- experience working in Ladok
- experience working in IT systems and interest in system integration
- experience providing operational support and service
- very good ability to communicate in both Swedish and English
Desirable qualifications for the position are:
- experience working in IT systems used in educational administration at Lund University, e.g., LUBAS, NyA, Canvas
- good knowledge of the university's conditions and regulations

Other
The position is a fixed-term employment of 40% with a start date of February 15, 2026 (or by agreement) until December 31, 2026.

The Humanities and Theology faculties have eight departments and conduct a large and varied activity within research and education. We have about 700 employees and about 4,000 full-year students.
About the Office for Humanities and Theology
The office provides service to the joint management bodies of the Humanities and Theology faculties and the university's central management. An important task is also to support and coordinate the faculties' departments in the decentralized administrative structure at Lund University. The office also serves as a knowledge bank and an advisory consulting body regarding relevant laws, regulations, and regulatory systems.
