We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer
for a global technology company with an office in Landskrona. Here, you will be an important part of an international team developing products used by millions of people worldwide.
ABOUT THE POSITION
In the role of Technical Writer, you will create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation in American English. The documentation includes manuals, installation guides, and maintenance documents for advanced technical products in automation and security. You will be part of an international documentation team of six people across four countries. The work is closely aligned with agile development teams and requires both good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
- Develop and maintain technical documentation according to current standards
- Translate complex information into easily understandable material for end-users
- Create illustrations in SolidWorks Composer and Adobe Illustrator
- Participate in agile development processes and contribute documentation in each iteration
- Ensure high quality, clarity, and consistency in all documentation
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or equivalent
- Has experience as a technical writer in a technical or engineering environment
- Has excellent knowledge of American English – both in writing and editing
- Can work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Has experience with agile methodologies
- Has knowledge of SolidWorks Composer (or similar) and Adobe Illustrator
- Has experience working with CCMS tools
Preferred qualifications include:
- Quanos Schema ST4 or Skribenta
- Work experience in automation or mechanical systems
- Collaboration tools such as Confluence, Teams, or Slack
- Certification in technical documentation, such as CPTC
