You will work with us at the Building and Environmental Administration, where we deal with building permits, shoreline protection, housing adaptation, supervision according to PBL, GIS and geodata, environmental and health protection, and food control.

Your workplace will be at the municipal building, which is just a stone's throw from the train station.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will primarily work on preparing the digitalization of the municipality's building permit archive. The work includes both final archiving of building permit documents and inventorying and structuring both analog and digital archives. The position therefore requires good digital skills and the ability to work in various operational systems.

Since Bjuv municipality is a smaller organization, you will also assist with other administrative tasks within the administration, such as mail handling, record keeping, producing statistics, and other administrative tasks as they arise.

You will be part of the administration's administrative team together with the committee secretary and coordinator. Together, you will plan, specify, and carry out the work of preparing the building permit archive for upcoming digitalization, and you will receive ongoing support in your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have relevant education for the position and a strong interest in digital administration. You understand the importance of accuracy, structure, and quality and work methodically to ensure a well-executed result. You have a service-oriented attitude, enjoy collaborating with others, and have the ability to adapt to the needs of the organization.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Experience in administrative and/or coordinating tasks
  • Good understanding of the building permit process
  • Very good digital competence and good computer skills
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and a driver's license (B).

It is an advantage if you have experience working as a case officer in building permit activities and knowledge of the systems EDP Vision, Geosecma, and Ciceron. Experience or engagement in the digitalization of municipal operations is seen as a significant plus.
