We are looking for an experienced and self-driven school administrator with excellent administrative skills and guidance and career counseling competence or equivalent background.

You have pedagogical insight and documented experience in administrative/school administrative work, preferably within SFI or similar activities. Guidance competence or equivalent is seen as an important part of the role. With us, you will be a key person in a dynamic and meaningful organization where you can contribute to the development of Sweden's oldest folk high school – Tora Vega Folk High School.

Job Responsibilities and Placement

We are looking for a school administrator with guidance competence or equivalent background and excellent administrative skills. You are structured, self-driven, and have a high work capacity as well as solid experience with digital tools. With us, you are a central resource in the daily work. The position requires excellent structure, flexibility, and digital competence.

You will provide administrative support to the SFI principal and, if necessary, to others in the folk high school's management as well as support the pedagogical staff. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the SFI principal and colleagues and includes organizing and administering the SFI activities. The role also includes ongoing school administration, service and support in administrative matters, as well as staffing the reception and other administrative tasks.

The primary location is Lund, but work may also occur in Åkarp or elsewhere as needed, for example, in connection with administrative tasks, staff meetings, or training sessions.

Qualifications

• You have a guidance degree or other equivalent education, alternatively another education with a clear connection to the guidance role.
• You have experience in administrative work as well as in development issues within education and administration.
• You have good knowledge of relevant IT tools and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems. Experience with Google Workspace, SchoolSoft, Microsoft 365, among others, is an advantage.
• You have a very good ability to work in a structured manner and can handle multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
• You thrive in a dynamic environment, can maintain focus and quality, and deliver results even during periods of high workload.
• You have excellent language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• You are solution-oriented, have good planning skills, take initiative, and enjoy collaborating with others.

Personal qualities are always crucial for the position.

Employment

Permanent, 6 months probationary period, 100%, vacation position.

If you are shortlisted for the position, you must be able to present an approved background check (for HVB homes) from the Police's criminal record.
