You will work in the company's R&D department where your area of responsibility will be broad. You will participate in development projects where you design and implement new solutions, and you will also work on receiving and driving issue cases from production where you will do everything from developing concepts and constructing new solutions to updating standard documents for the part in question. In your role, you will work closely with colleagues from other disciplines, which requires good communication and collaboration skills, as well as good opportunities to learn from and complement each other. The work setup will be flexible, allowing you to work from home up to 3 days a week, as long as your tasks permit.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing new and existing turbine products
• Working with CAD in NX CAD
• Participating in fault and root cause investigations
• Working on development projects of new design solutions together with other disciplines.

• Has a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related relevant field
• Has worked for a few years as an engineer or in a similar role
• Has a strong technical interest and preferably an interest in machinery
• Has good experience with CAD and making detailed drawings
• Has good knowledge of mechanical design
• Can communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing. Swedish is a plus

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client and us is that you will be directly employed by the client after 6-12 months.
