About us

Björkvik's care home in Höör has 37 care places distributed across HVB, special housing (SÄBO), and short-term care. Our clients have varied psychiatric issues including psychosis, anxiety, personality disorders, neuropsychiatric disorders, and often in combination with substance abuse. At Björkvik, we primarily work with a foundation in CBT.

About the position 

As a nursing assistant in the Special Housing department for individuals with mental disabilities, you will have a varied job where you will plan and implement individual interventions based on the needs and goals outlined in our residents' implementation plans. You will document daily in our documentation system. Together with colleagues, you will distribute tasks and communicate with other health and medical staff.

Examples of tasks:

• Motivational and supportive conversations

• Follow up on residents' weekly planning and implementation plans

• Manage medication according to delegation

• Plan activities and transportation

• Social interaction

• Support with daily interventions and ADL (e.g., personal care, meal support, cleaning, laundry, and shopping)

Employment conditions: The position involves 85% work during days, evenings, and weekends. Temporary position for about 12 months with start in January and potential for extension.

Salary is according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreement. 

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is solution-focused, attentive, and flexible. You are a person who can handle stressful situations with confidence and stability. You are responsible and can independently structure your work, while also having good collaboration skills and enjoying teamwork. You have a pedagogical insight into people's different conditions and can adapt your way of communicating to their needs.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained nursing assistant

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with the target group, comorbidity.

• Manual B driver's license
