1177 is a national service available in all counties and regions of Sweden. Our mission is to make a qualified medical assessment, prioritize, and provide advice for self-care or refer to the appropriate level of care when necessary. We operate according to a national decision support and a specific conversation methodology.

1177 by phone works for national development and collaboration towards a digital healthcare advisory service. The goal is for residents to have increased access to personal advice and faster assistance in reaching the right level of care and support through multiple channels.

The operations are led by regional area managers, operational managers, and unit managers. Each unit employs nurses and administrators. In the Västra Götaland region, our offices are located in Alingsås, Gothenburg, Skövde, and Uddevalla. We are also part of a national network with other regions in Sweden.

With us, we offer you a job in healthcare advice by phone where you encounter a variety of inquiries. We also provide an introductory training of a total of four weeks with theory and practice. Ongoing professional development as well as individual conversation guidance and group reflection. Scheduled recovery time during the work shift. Operationally adapted individual schedule planning (ISP) and quota-based working hours. The possibility of working remotely may become relevant once you have adapted to our working methods. About the Job

1177 by phone is often a first point of entry to care for our residents. Being a telephone nurse at 1177 is a rewarding, exciting, and challenging job that spans a wide area of knowledge. As a nurse, the phone is your working tool with support from images and video.

The work is independent with a focus on personal interaction, which makes a good response to our residents of great importance.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse who preferably has specialist competence. Furthermore, we see that you have previously worked as a nurse for at least 3 years. You also have good IT skills, master the Swedish language in speech and writing, and have good knowledge of English.

As a person, we are looking for someone who has a good attitude towards others and has the ability to collaborate. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who is independent, innovative, and has the ability to take initiative. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities for the position.

Conditions

The work schedule includes days, evenings, and weekends.
